Call of Duty: Black Ops’, Now for Sale

World’s best-selling video game, ‘ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2′ now has a sequel. ‘ Call of Duty: Black Ops’ went on sale at midnight and will be available for purchase in a store near you.
‘ Call of Duty: Black Ops’ is expected to be at least as successful as its predecessor, which generated sales of more than a billion dollars.
Amazon has the game on sale for $59,99, as well as KMart, Best Buy, Game Stop, Target and Toys’ R’ Us. Walmart is selling ‘ Call of Duty: Black Ops’ for $ 59,96.
‘Black Ops’ action takes place during the Cold War, where players are involved in battles in missions in Asian villages or the frozen wastelands of former U.S.S.R.
Activision launched ‘ Call of Duty: Black Ops’ for all the major consoles, PC and also Nintendo DS. The game comes in three versions: the Standard edition that comes with the game, the Hardened edition ( $ 80) and the Prestige edition ( $150).
As the price of the game rises for each edition, the player can enjoy more elaborate features. The Hardened edition comes with a Black Ops medal, an Avatar outfit and also 4 zombie co-op maps. The Prestige edition of Black Ops is even more generous with its users; the players will mostly enjoy an RC-XD Surveillance Vehicle, which can transmit video and audio data back to its user who may be as far as 200 feet.
” From the beginning, we focused our entire studio on creating the most immersive ‘Call of Duty’ experience ever. Black Ops delivers an epic and cinematic single player experience , an incredibly deep multi-player offering, and endless hours of co-op fun with Zombies”, Treyarch Studio Head Mark Lamia said.
The ‘ Call of Duty: Black Ops’ experience has no trace of cheap theater and the violent scenes blend harmoniously with the missions the players set on. It is a very intense scenery and the gamer will find himself wanting for more everytime he finishes one of his play-goals.
“‘ Call of Duty’ revolutionized first-person shooters. It’s one of those games where you can lose a few hours or even a weekend if you’re not careful. The game just has this edge to it with the graphics and the realistic weapons and terrain that they added and it makes you feel that you’re fighting without actually getting shot”, Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels told ESPN.
